Lip Sync your way to fame and glory in the Crown’s latest battle of the arguably talented!

Drag up, dress up or just turn up, it’s all good. BYO props to get in the spirit (no fog machines, bubble machines, sharp objects, projectiles, fire, water, or glitter).

Get rehearsing now and enter solo or as part of a team to be in the running to win the $500 cash prize!

We’ll be judging the winner based on lip sync ability, appearance, performance, energy, and audience response.

Battle kicks off from around 10pm.

Terms and Conditions

1. Entry is free.
2. Registration is open to individuals or teams.
3. All contestants must be 18 years and over as of the date of performance.
4. Registration must be received online or over the bar no later than 4pm, Thursday, 19 September.
5. All team member names must be included on the registration form. Only individuals listed on the registration form can perform.
6. List any and all props to be used on the registration form for approval at management’s discretion. Fog machines, bubble machines, sharp objects, projectiles, fire, water, and glitter are strictly prohibited.
7. The maximum time limit is four minutes per performance.
8. Management reserves the right to cancel registration if the committee feels the act is inappropriate, offensive, or a danger to others.
9. The competition will be judged on lip sync ability, appearance, performance, energy, and audience response.
10. The judges’ decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
11. One cash prizes will be awarded to the winning team or individual.
12. Contestants must not be bound nor have ever been bound by a recording contract of whatever nature, nor recorded any dramatic or musical works of whatever nature.
13. Contestants must not be bound by any contract, which will prevent them from entering the competition.
14. All participants permit their name, photo and video recording to be used for promotional activities.
15. The organiser, event coordinator and licensee may in its absolute discretion waive or relax one or more of the above requirements after taking into consideration the contestant’s circumstances and background.
16. Contestants acknowledge and agree that the organiser, event coordinator and licensee may in its absolute discretion reject any application, or postpone, cancel, or bring forward the event date.
17. The organiser, event coordinator and licensee shall not be liable under any circumstances for any loss or damage including personal injury or death sustained by the Contestant as a result of or arising out of the exercising by the Organiser or Licensor of any right or discretion referred to herein.
18. Contestants hereby warrant and undertake that all information supplied in the registration form is true and accurate.
19. The terms and conditions herein contained shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.
