We are conscious of our impact on the environment and our local and global community.
We encourage guests to limit the length of showers and reduce power consumption wherever possible. Our previously very inefficient window-fitted air conditioners have now been replaced with newer, much more efficient models. We provide airers in addition to our coin-operated dryer for use when weather permits.
We use reusable products where it is safe and sanitary to do so. Our consumable toiletries are sourced from a social enterprise committed to reducing global poverty.
We offer a free exchange service for our guests to leave their excess products, such as spices and rice, for other guests, or to browse leftovers before purchasing new products.
We encourage recycling rather than waste with the provision of recycling bins around the property and a cash-for-containers collection point that collects funds for local not-for-profit organisations.
If you have any other ideas we can employ to reduce our impact, we'd be happy to hear them.
We understand that sometimes things pop up that are out of your control.
